Need images from hard to reach places or in harsh, unforgiving conditions? Have a story to tell about the mountains but you're having a hard time convincing others to follow you on your masochistic adventure?
I can help!
I thrive on capturing those unpleasant moments, inevitably leading to the most rewarding ones. If skiing or climbing is involved I can help drive your story to new heights!
Carson Meyer’s deep love of the outdoors and subsequent passion for photography can be traced back to roots. He was literally born and raised at the foot of the Tetons in Grand Teton National Park. Early life was filled with skiing, climbing, camping, hiking, backpacking and enjoying his “backyard” with family and friends. Growing up in Jackson, Wyoming exposed Carson to unique experiences that he enthusiastically documented with his flip phone and later with modern camera equipment that he purchased with summer earnings. By his early 20s, he had climbed the Grand Teton even skied off its summit, finished a Bachelor's degree in Film and Photography, and had several photos published, including one in Outside Magazine’s The Edge of the Earth, a book of 40 years of curated adventure photographs. Carson specializes in capturing imagery in beautiful and sometimes unforgiving environments. An appreciation of his beloved home forged his drive to create meaningful stories about and in the mountains where he was raised. Carson strives to produce beautiful imagery for both commercial and editorial applications to inspire others to revere and protect our sacred lands and planet.
